Gezellig kot gezocht door VUB Master student :) !
‘Student housing Resume’ of Milou Jansen ABOUT: I am a 23 year old Dutch Eramus Master student in Digital Communication Leadership and I will study at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel from February 2017 to at least February 2018. That’s why I am in search for a cosy place that I can call my home in Brussels! I can’t wait to become a roommate of some nice Brusselèèrs and/or Internationals! SKILLS: I am a kind, happy, optimistic, flexible, enthusiastic, clumsy, caring, reliable, sweet and responsible roommate. My cooking skills are moderate but I am really good at doing the dishes. Moreover, I am good at losing my keys but even better at finding them again! EXPERIENCE: ROOM 1 Waterstraat 129 | Nijmegen, Netherlands| July 2012 - June 2013 Moving out! My very first room in the city of Nijmegen. Only 12 square meters, but all mine! Together with three guys and five girls I lived in this house for almost a year. It was a great start, but the house was relatively far from the city center, and there was not really a bond between the eight residents. ROOM 2 Grote Markt 31 | Nijmegen, Netherlands | July 2013 - December 2014 A dream come true! My room was only ten square meters this time, but everyday I woke up with a magnificent view of the Grote Markt! Together with seven other girls and 3 uninvited kitchen house-mice I lived right on the Grote Markt in downtown Nijmegen. Now let's go and see the Grote Markt in Brussels! ROOM 3 Oxford Street East, 421 | London, Canada | January 2014 - June 2014 During my exchange in London, Canada I lived in a cosy house together with my four Canadian roommates. I loved living with locals, and it was good for my English too! For the first time I lived in a house with a common living room, which was super nice! I survived the Canadian cold and I loved every minute I spend in this nice country. ROOM 4 Pauwelstraat 2 | Nijmegen, Netherlands | January 2015 - September 2016 I outgrew my room of 10 square meters and moved into the nicest apartment I will ever live. Together with three other girls I was lucky enough to live here. I loved how we talked for hours, got to know each other, went out for drinks, often ate together, or did nothing at all. Also, I finally had enough space to invite my friends over! ROOM 5 Robert-Preußler Straße 28 | Salzburg, Austria | October 2016 - Present Bye Nijmegen, Bye NL! This year I made the exciting decision to apply for a two year master programme abroad in digital communication leadership. The first semester I spend in Salzburg. I will spend the second, third and maybe (but probably not) the fourth semester in Brussels! In Salzburg I share a room with one of my fellow students from Egypt. Although I am a social, outgoing and active person, I have come to realise I also like my privacy and alone-time. This is why I am looking for a nice home in Brussels where roommates hang out together but also have the possibility of spending some hours alone. That sounds like a nice balance to me! LANGUAGES: Dutch: Native English: Professional proficiency French: Basic, but currently attending a language course! German: Basic, currently decoding the Austrian accent.. INTERESTS: Meet up with friends, watching good films, traveling, dancing, surprising people, discovering, reading, receiving postcards, festivals, drinking coffee, visit musea, waking up without an alarm clock, trying to be sporty.
